Did you go local or quit trucking entirely ?

I have stayed out as long as 14 weeks. That was to build up days off for a non paid vacation.
My runs for that company put me through KC so I got to spend 10 hours at the house at times during that 14 weeks. The longer you are out, the more things the wife has to gripe about when you get home. It is better to let her b i t ch in smaller segments so do not stay out more then 3 weeks at a time. -
at least 4 months, as i was in training and then i had to wait for a co-driver from my state as well. i knew this, and actually asked to stay out with other co-drivers, till a homie was available.

almost six months however I did stop by the house during that periid for a 10 plus a few hours. these days around 3 months give or take a few weeks.

2 months. I usually stay out 3-4 weeks. Will be backing off soon, come home to the farm every other week.
