I have a little problem with their advertised avg. mph too. Best AVG. I could ever get down was just shy of 54 mph. Industry accepted avg. is 48. The sniff test comes when you run a satelite, for anyone can hang paper ( the log ) but the dish knows all and tells all. ya ya?

I had a 70mph truck with Prime on electronic logs and was able to average 66mph each day. As long as I kept my foot in it and didn't stop twelve times a day. My truck now with Swift has 68mph on it. Again, if I keep my foot in it and don't stop, I can average 65. Not too difficult to get 70 as long as you're in a 75mph state.

It depends if you run looseleaf logs or not.

i'd say realistically around 12,000 per month maybe a little more or less. Legally. i do about 9000 a month, but i got every weekend off. If i ran on the weekends i think i could do at least 10600 per month.
Now, if you're asking technically how much could a driver do, then i've come up with a plan i call "Super Solo." NOTE: this IS NOT legal.
See, what you do is you and someone else apply to a company as a team and get accepted. Let's call this company "A" At the same time you also apply to another company as a team and get accepted. Let's call this company, company "B."
After you dispatch for the first time at company "A", you then split up-----you stay with company "A" and your "partner" goes to company "B."
You are running at company "A" as a team----on paper. But in reality you are doing ALL of the driving. Your partner is doing the exact same thing at company "B."
So, in this way you could get upwards of 24,000 miles per month if you can stay awake. This is some SERIOUS MONEY HERE. Like $3000 a week gross. $12,000 per month and about $150K per year. i don't know if "chemical assistance" would be worth it?

If I make five dollars a mile or one dollar a mile im running the same I run when im away from home, when im at home i sit!!! regardless of what i make per mile i run the same... i sleep when im tired and drive when im not... I have logged 14000 miles legally many times now thats logged as turned in but i never log as i drive i do what workes best for me... and when my truck is headed towards home, to my wife our 15 year old son and my twin four year old girls it only stops if im tired need fuel or get snowed in... Back in 1996 I drove for a guy out of bellgrade montana for 21 cents per mile.. i made a run everyweek from belgrade montana to blackfoot idaho to jessup maryland to eden north carolina to billings montana..in a 67 mile per hour truck.. I left home friday and got home on wednesday... I ran myself into the ground for the benefit of someone else now i run for the benefit for me and my family...

You'll see most these guys parked along the curbs at truck stops too. Screwing it up for everyone.
It's easy to get 16,000 a month.
You drop and hook. Stay in the western states. And never learn to back the truck up. Hence...the curb parking maneuver.
I can "legally" run 16k miles a month on paper. So long as I stay west, and have a 75mph truck.
14k is a more accurate picture, for a driver who keeps the left door shut and manages his time.
I do about 9 or 10k a month now. Make good money, pay my bills. Why would I want to run harder ??Injun Thanks this. -
went to a stevens interview yesterday and they said that a couple the are oos made 120,000in a year and makin some 4800 miles a week sorry but my bs alarm is going off on this what yall think

A fleece operator might make 120k a year. But that translates to about 2000 miles a week, or less.
You have to keep in mind, when "most" drivers talk about making 100k or more a year. They're talking gross.
A lease op for our company only has to run about 102,000 miles a year to make $120k.
I know O/O that gross well over $180k a year. And are home more often than most company drivers that run OTR. But these guys didn't start driving last week, or last year for that matter. -
700 miles a day, every day, consistenly.........People, please, for all you newbies reading this, you will soon see some drivers tell really tall tales.
