Like the Stryker a lot better than the cobra 29. Swr pretty much perfect on both but the Stryker is night and day sound difference

A/C and power steering, because I’m old enough to remember when most trucks didn’t have either.

    The Cummins Big Cam.

No computers, no wiring harnesses, no electronic pedal, no electronic injectors, no speed sensor to leave you doing 25 miles an hour, no Multiplex wiring, no trips to the dealer, no governor...

Just compression, fuel, and air... the way it should be :)

That incredible tilt telescopic steering wheel in the famous fld120.

It has the greatest range of any truck I've ever been in and it makes the truck soooo comfortable...

Thank you. I've driven a lot of trucks, and I'd say a good 80% were BC Cummins. The rest were Detroits. While Cats were clearly superior, they just didn't make very good fleet motors. Probably the cost of rebuild. Btw, they did have governors, 2100, and the "castrated" ones( Formula @1900) were a pain, but I don't EVER remember a BC Cummins letting me down. All 3 of my personal trucks had BC's and I made money with them mainly because, they never broke down.

The project of going over the engine and clutch/ trans, putting it into the truck and converting over from the electronic engine that was in there, and then going over the whole truck itself to make it dependable was a lot of work. But I absolutely love it, and I couldn't be happier with it and the truck itself.

It is exactly what I wanted and it is perfect for me.

And I meant governed speed, not the pump governor, lol.
