Thats what ive been told. So I guess I just gotta go over to Texas and start knocking on doors. Im just afraid of running out of resources and being stranded. I would like to get there with at least a plan in place. I could possibly get a cheap flight to DFW, but then its all a gamble from there. I really appreciate all the input you guys have given me though. Im still working on my plan. I want to go as soon as possible

Go get some! I have no doubt that you will be able to find something quickly down there even with the limited experience. Even though adds say 1 - 2 years experience, that doesn't mean anything. If they need people they will waive that. Especially if you have a good driving record. Keep us posted on how it goes and I'm interested in knowing if you find the job you are looking for. :)

So I,m here back in S.A. Again after traveling through Kenedy,Victoria and up through Big Spring and the Midland ODESSA AREA. I could have gotten hired in Big Spring as a newbie @ 14$ per hour. There wouldbe only every other weekend off,so not enough time togo home to see the wife. Askedabout 4 weeks on and 5 days off. NoGo! SoIve decided to look more around the Karnes City area. Had an offer in George West for 1100 weekly but driving/welding....... Ot for me. I have a couple of set interview/offers on Monday. I should decide by Tuesday evening, still 2 full days to search. For those ofyouwanting to come out and search there are jobs out here cor newbies, just not huge money. Still a lot more than OTR
