Anyone want the real deal? Here it is. This is for Florida. Most anywhere contracts are about the same. Maybe $50 difference. You’ll use all your hours for the week and usually get a day off for a reset.
    $1575.50 for 820 miles or $1.92
    $1545.25 for 810 miles or $1.91
    $1542.31 for 889 miles or $1.73

that’s all contract. Meaning you are assigned a block of time. You haul whatever they say. Usually 3 there and backs a week. All this is using their trailers. Most FL goes to Miami and back. Usually hauling scrap bails of paper back then waiting 5 hours to unload it. Or Atlanta and back. Like traffic? Sign up today.

load board is even worse I’ll check now…

    Smithfield NC to Orlando $1.27
    Atlanta to Memphis $1.38
Dallas to Memphis and back $1.31
    South bend to CT $1.96
Ft wayne to Carlisle PA to $1.68

most Amazon stuff is wasting time. Most trailers are empty or barely full, empty racks, trailer moves, etc. Amazon also penalizes you for not being on time which is understandable but it’s their system. So you’re playing against the house. The rules are constructed so you’ll most likely never have a high score meaning you’ll never get access to the best paying loads first. It’s not for a small company. You need backup trucks. Inevitably trucks will need to be down for maintenance and without a backup truck you’ll have to cancel your load and or block hurting your score. Ironically they don’t let big carriers with backup trucks into their system. I have only ever seen JB hauling Amazon. Not sure how they managed that. The rest are small no name usually foreigners hauling Amazon thinking they’re getting rich. You’ve seen the trucks. Seen any really nice trucks? Besides Amazon’s own brand new ones.

It’s basically running until you go out of business all while Amazon makes you think you’re part of their team and they care about your success. It’s not sustainable.
