Hey there - My understanding is on the first day you do your drug/dot and a bunch of paperwork, along with listening to a bunch of speakers. Then the next day, you are taken to "boot camp". My questions are these: How many days are you at boot camp? I read there are a bunch of manuevers you must perform with a truck when you run the obstacle course. Are these taught at boot camp, or are they expecting you to just go do them? When do you know if you have been hired? Generally how long until you are in the truck with your finisher? Just curious.....

Con-Way has a pet policy. The pay chart says "Different pay scale for those that have a pet". Aside from the obvious answer, does anyone know how different the pay is?
I talked with a recruiter several months ago. They did a student thing last year. 3 months is what they were asking for then. They might have relaxed that by now. Other companies are doing that.
There are regional drivers, depending where you live, say like Columbus OH, or Dallas Tx, there is the good chance if you are running a regional fleet you could get home or through the house once or twice a week.
