The question was 'state', to me, any state with a 55mph limit sucks...CA especially due to it's size...

I'm always in Jersey & will stand by what I said.... I'll go to NYC before I go to Pittsburgh.

Anyhow... Many cities are missing. Wheres Portland, ME? Portland, OR. San Fransico? Sacremento? Kansas City? Charlotte? Myrtle Beach? Miami? Minneapolis? Millwaukee? Springfield, MO? Laredo? El Paso? Get my hint?

New people think the big cities are the worse.... But Spingfield, MO is just a small town with a lot of congestion & for some reason, they created some of their roads so your driving on the wrong side.

It is pitiful when you're on the highway to hell (I-15) going into NV. You ever watch the speed limit going north on a friday afternoon? Trucks 55 cars 90.

I am with you red. Once I really got thinking about it.
I have driven allot in all the Eastern Citys.
For some Citys DC, Atlanta, Dallas, LA etc, it is just the traffic that is bad and the quality of many drivers. The roads are not really that bad and the citys are set up fairly well so it is not too hard to get around.

Some of the older Eastern Citys like Boston, Pittsburgh, Philly, Parts of the NYC area, you will have the traffic. But you also have the low clearances, roads that were not set up well for traffic, and Terran features.

When you put all those things together Pittsburgh is probably the worse one. It has all the elements that make driving around it a pain. Bad roads, low clearances, limited truck routes, narrow streets, hills, curves, bad drivers.
Many of the industrial areas that are still working are in older parts of the city. In many cases you have to go thru residential areas to get to the warehouses.
