I idle if it will below 40 or above 70 at night. Id let it get colder at night but fridge, cpap and bunk heater running kills batteries by 2am.

I have 3 Cabela's sleeping bags plus a 12 lb weighted blanket to throw on top. I wear a cap to keep my head warm. Down jacket and long John's at the ready for when I wake up. It's much better than idling a truck on a cold night. Much healthier. I highly recommend it.
Also Dinosaur, they even idle their trucks while they are fueling. More freedom I guess. Actually, more deafness.Last edited: Mar 1, 2022

There is no frigging way I'm working a full day to goto bed in 3 sleeping bags. Screw that. Not to mention starting the truck in winter in this area when it's snowing and blowing 30 below. Nah, hard pass. Good for you though. Your wayyyyy cooler than I am. I can afford the fuel. Way better than indoor frostbite.

Some are ignorant and think it’s cool. Some don’t have blankets I suppose. Me personally why I don’t park in truck stops 99% of time. Unless it’s below zero my bunk heater doesn’t even run. Above 80 sleeper doors open. If a nice breeze. Or apu runningDino soar Thanks this.
