If the lot is full, park at the pump!

Long line at the register, move to the front!

If traffic is backed up, drive in the oncoming lanes!

Running late, ignore those traffic lights!

Can't afford a good meal' dine and dash!

The world just doesn't understand that you are important.

The truth is you aren't much, but you are all you think about.

OF COURSE IT'S WRONG! WHY THE DEBATE. ACT LIKE A CIVILIZED HUMAN WHO IS PART OF AN ORGANIZED SOCIETY!

How about the driver that parked behind truck fueling and goes inside. Then driver, fueling pulls up and now that other guy is inside shopping. Here was the messed up part. He come back to his truck and drive thru fuel island( not fueling at all) then parks again in front of pumps in the normal spot you park to pay. He goes back inside and more shopping.

Fueled at Loves Christina TN the other morning
Got in around 5.15am, it's a cluster as usual

One pump was open, had to wait for truck in front to move so I could fuel reefer after truck and def
Took me 20mins to Fuel and pull forward

In that 20mins Swift was parked in outside pump, nobody in truck or fuelling
Swift comes out at 20mins with McDonald's breakfast

So I thought ok, truck was blocking you from pulling forward after fuelling and you went inside did your business and grabbed your breakfast

Well I go in after pulling forward, drain the main vein, grab my coffee, wait in line to pay, come out to truck after about 10mins

Jump in truck start rolling out, look over at outside pump and see Swift putting cards in getting ready to Fuel

So Swift had been parked for just over 30mins and was getting ready to Fuel

Some people really just do not care

What I started doing is if I pull up to a spot and the guy is fueling I'll run and ask him how much longer he'll be. If he says he'll be a while I'll run inside and piss and then grab a drink refill and come back out. If he says he's just about finished I'll just wait. But that way once I get done fueling, I can just leave and let the guy behind me have free reign of the spot. But I always ask first. I don't want to be caught inside with my pants down when the truck in front of me pulls forward.

I fuel at an Irving or the company diesel repository.... I don't sleep in the truck, I don't have to inhale the piss fumes that bake from the concrete, I don't cry about NO inverters & ask: can I bring my PlayStation with me? Screw an APU, lizards aren't an issue, I don't have to wait in line while people grocery shop, parking is NEVER a problem. Loves points, Peelot points TA points... The value of a shower in a pigs watering hole... Buncha hens clucking about something frightening - athletes foot, gangrene, waiting in line because every idiot and their seventeenth cousin fourteen times removed thinks OTR is a great idea........ but keep knocking that 12hr slip-seat, hourly, rotation.... paid for everything you do.... detention? What detention? A flashing red light means I get to read the paper while paid to do so... drink coffee, smoke a butt, talk to other drivers and not have to be pissed off that I've been in this dock for 3 hours...

All the tears here.... might need a box ah these: Now 99% more absorbent for OTR truck drivers!

It's not that I'm better than you - any of you. I'm not. Swear to it. And i genuinely appreciate what you GOOD OTR drivers do. I've done the OTR racket too. When you can't any longer deal with the BS (the stupidity of other drivers, anything listed above, or flat out having your time stolen from you) - change your game, because the game isn't changing for you.

    Pardon the tirade.
Complaining changes little. Every minute you sit making $0.00 will guarantee you they keep you pinned down that way. And the sheep will still think they're wolves. Know better.

It's everywhere and not always shopping but a 30 minute break. Not long ago I pull up to the 2 fuel pump flash market in scenic Newport Ar. Wait my turn tanker finally pulls up. I pump 200 gallon pay pee etc. Guy is standing at my truck door says it's gonna be 10 minutes before I can move. Naturally I ask why? 30 minute break and grins big. Could not have made me any more mad if you slapped me in the face with a ####ty mop. O/O I'm sure pulling a tank for quality. This little place is known for its cheap fuel but has 0 parking. Just to pull forward it puts you at edge of drive. Then the guy has the gall to blame e-logs instead of the low rent Jesus boot wearing dumb ### that chose this spot this time for his break.
