Asking drivers to take them out to lunch. Calling them during the weekend from their cell phone, asking personal questions if they're married, living with someone,have kids, etc. As far as I know, that is out of work ethics. They should show more respect!

I could see the married with kids question being legit though,,, a lot of drivers are unable to go OTR full time if they have commitments at home.

Don't you think that the recruiter would preface it with something like, "you're husband has applied, or called us inquiring about a job"? Maybe the recruiter did, but the longhaulgf didn't say. If not I still think that such calls from a recruiter is a out of line.

No, he's the one who told me about how uncomfortable he feels with that. I would never find out if it wasn't for him. First he thought they were only "friendly" people but at days pass he start getting "uncomfortable".
