what you think doesn't matter does it
your not at the mall the bar or anywhere else
I think cigarettes should be free
doesn't matter what I think either
I am very happy to pay for a parking spot in Columbia nj
on a sunday night delivering in new jersey in the morning
my new run to los angelos from Wisconsin
makes pay parking unnecessary
What's up with T/A and their "Parking Reservations" ?!?!?

Never had a problem. Just recently pulled into the petro in ontario ca at 230 am on a thursday and found an easy to back into spot. Have been on paper and elog, and plenty of northeast never have had issues finding parking at any time of day. As for if i think parking is going to be a challenge in an area ive saved addresses from customer from my current and former company that i know i can park at and not be hassled even if im not delivering there.

well, you just haven't been to the right places. you can even find a spot at the petro in little rock ,ar for gods sake after 6pmdrvrtech77 Thanks this.

this nothen new folk's, back when it was a 76 you paid too park at 12 bucks a night and drove thru a gate with a big fence around the lot, there excuse back then , was too keep the lot lizards out
-
again, how many folks sleep overnite at the places you mention? it apples to oranges junior. do you park free at Disney world, nope, at most major ball stadiums, nope. at most amusement parks, nope.

another point, I wish they would go back to where most of em were pay to park. just spend 20 bucks or buy fuel. that keep the mega fleet " buy fuel at pilot only" crowd from buying fuel at pilot and parking at t/a petro. and all the jackleg mega fleet bobtails that all take up one parking space and are 1/2 mile from their terminal. then all they buy (or can afford) are ramen noodles or 2 for 2.22 hot dogs
fortycalglock and SHO-TYME Thank this. -
The real thief is the T/A.

Do not move your truck if you're OD even if they threaten to tow you, just be nice about it say you're on your 10 and are not allowed to move the truck. If they insist on towing you then take your belongings, get a hotel, call your company and then call a lawyer..
It's really the only way things are going to get better without getting violent.
If you panic and give in and just by happenstance a drunk slides under your trailer and dies,.. you're either going to prison for fifteen years or paying out $50,000. Where would you rather be? in a hotel having to give the bad news to the night dispatcher or facing the reality of be slammed in the monkey cage?
Oh, btw the Sheriff who told you that "you better move that truck now" won't help you. -
Find the safest spot you can and try your best not to park in front of a fire hydrant, again do not move your vehicle if you are out of time.
