What's up with T/A and their "Parking Reservations" ?!?!?

Just remember you are still tagged, paper will only get you past DOT. In a criminal investigation paper means very little to the prosecutor.

 

Is the argument about idling? NJ has to either provide parking or go back to making their own products and reopen their old farms and truck it locally for their own. I see no alternative.

 

You don't get it do you? We provide a service... that's all trucking is. The freight and consumers are not there to provide you with the necessities that you demand so you can go trucking. Perhaps you don't see alternatives, but your idea of "alternatives" is complete hogwash.

 

Nobody has to provide you with anything. Rent or buy a drop lot or terminal for your company to park your equipment. You're a business, act like it.

 

what I did to avoid a tinfoil hat out in public , was I bought several of those little bags that you can put an ezpass or pre pass in so the signal cant be found. I aped em together and lined the inside of my trucker cap, it keeps out all sort of evil government signals and no one knows I am crazy as a loon for liking reserved parking.

and just think this whole thread started by a joker stating that half of 129 parking spaces were reserved , which would be 65, when in reality they have 24 reserved spaces out of 129 , of which 23 reserved spaces are available as 8:37 pm eastern time wed evening. ( just check the app, which seems impossible for many) the thread went from that to a govt/corporate conspiracy to sell parking spaces.

I am so thankful this thanksgiving that I was born with enough of brain to at least figure out how to park without much controversy every evening .

 

I knew it used to be a 76 (when I was training at Stevens they had just officially changed over to a TA) but I didn't know it had been around THAT long.
