Wow. The government owes us comfort? Now I think I've heard it all.

 

You must like your fairytales..here, let me read you a beddy time story..once upon a time a group of honest farmers got together and decided they wanted a 'free government'..

..not.

 

Please explain to us how the government owes us comfort.

I guess I must be. I will say I'm old enough to know the government doesn't owe me comfort. The problem we have in this country is people walking around thinking the government owes them things like comfort. 1 in 7 losers out on the street is on food stamps. That's what we get when the government owes us something.
Guys like me and my assumption is most guys and gals on this site break our backs on a daily basis for the entitlement crowd.

 

Neither one of you are making any comments relevant to the issue and are leaning toward politics which has another forum just for it.
