Whats up with tandems trucking recruiting........

Can anybody tell about tandems recruiting. The recruiter in savannah, ga terminal says that everything is good with my paper work. But, keeps telling me he's waiting for the people in Michigan city to get back with him so we can set up the orientation date. Now this going on the 2nd week now. Is this typical of their recruiting standards or is this recruiter just leading me in circles. Because from my exp most companies go thru their process in 1 to 2 days.. If anybody has gone thru this with them plz let me know. THANKS
