Hey I'm with you! A smart O.O buys a truck that is comfortable and makes money, not burn fuel and break your back cause it looks like something that was in your favorite trucker movie!

    jgent74 and johnday Thank this.

I'm with you. A interracial dude like me must love Minivans / Baseball Caps & Freightshakers Classics only 50% if stereotypes (No, your comments are not racist) are real. Please don't give the people who stereotype truck drivers as being devoid of intelligence a reason to think it's true. :biggrin_2554: Good Luck All!

Correct, and for me and almost everyone I know locally that happens to be either a W900-T800 or a 379. I don't know anyone who's an O/O who runs a Volvo or a plastic FL. One friend had a columbia and dumped it for a Classic XL. My uncle is a company driver and hauls auto parts for Honda. He likes the ride of a Volvo but he doesn't have to work on it, buy it, or worry about resale value. Personally and this is just my opinion but I like to open the hood and actually see the motor. I don't want to spend an hour removing junk to see the valve cover. Watching someone just try and adjust the valves on one of those plastic abortions is idiotic. :biggrin_2559:

U hit it on the head! I think that is one of the major reasons why O.O's like trucks like Pete's and W9's. They aren't all computer and wiring and for the love of God, SENSORS!!!! I swear 99% of my breakdowns were bad sensors! Nowadays the sensors will disable the truck so you cannot move! So every time you have a bad sensor your paying a tow bill! I can't tell you how many of those I paid! Can't bypass them cause it voids your warranty.

All new trucks have all of the same sensors. All the parts are made by the same companies.
