Im trying to figure out what would be best to use as a monitor for my xbox for over the road. Was thinking a laptop would be great but not sure what i would need with it. So really what does everyone use for their set up to play when they have a chance.

For an xbox to be hooked up to your laptop you'd have to double check to see that your laptop as HDMI IN and not OUT as most have. Generally HDMI in is on more higher end laptops from what I've seen.

I use a 19" Vizo flat screen HD TV, picked it up at Wally Mart for I think just under 200.00 its true 1080p hook your X Box with an HDMI, picture is great, Vizo (or however its spelled) is owned by Sony, so you know your getting a good product...

What's the largest you think you could get in your cab? I saw a really good deal on a 24" was wondering if that would be too big?

I seen drivers with 42" flat panels mounted on the back wall. A 19" is the biggest you'll fit in your truck covey hole. I seen other bigger ones mounted on retractable mounts that work well. My 19" Phillips has been to hell and back and still works great.

Warning: Grand Theft Auto is a bad influence on your trucking career, lol. :)

Well its not a bad influence when that's how ill be making mine. Get tired of my truck ill just switch to another one. Hell that's what I do for my personal ride. ANd when cops start chasing me ill just put in the cheat code to lower my wanted level.

Honestly just getting a feel on what people use so I can understand what would be the best course of action when I decide what I want to get.

I started with a little 13" tube tv with a built in dvd player, but after winning 700 bucks at the north vegas petro I bought a 32" Sanyo from Walmart that I don't have to squint to see the words on the screen when playing BlackOps. I only have a 750 watt inverter and with the TV, XBox and Laptop plugged in, I only consume 400 watts or so of power.
