What's with all the lights?

Getting back on topic: what I really want is one of those programable signs that I can hang off the DOT bar. Then I could make it flash at people tailgating me! "GET OFF MY TRAILER!" "BACKOFF YOU IDIOT!" "I CAN"T SEE YOU BACK THERE"

"I HAVE A GUN AND AM IN MENOPAUSE, GET AWAY WHILE YOU CAN"

I really want that sign

OMG I have dreams about haveing a sign just like that for my truck!

To everyone that says a truck needs ALL of those lights for safety get real.....If Cars, Buses, Trains and even planes don't need 400 lights neither does a truck. The bottonline id ppl "add" more lights than standard for one reason and one reason only, style.....now as far as the style goes, to each and all their own. Its funny how alot of ppl would say 24" rims on an SUV are tacky, but 400 lights on a semi are not, neither are necessary and it comes down to standing out.....Personally, I think the stock lights on my truck are plenty to have to keep up with.

 

I would add lights to my ride (a company ride) if the last sentence there was not so so true! I would not mind a few more lights to help me stand out a bit....but its on me to install, upkeep, everything else. Not getting paid anymore to beautify a company truck, but I do keep it spotless and keep up on regular cleaning.

i like mine..but since this was taken I no longer have red back of cab load lights my daughter had me replace them with purple ones...actually looks pretty good..
