Ive paid my share of Ohio tickets. Gah.

HA... one day I was front door of 4, we were hoofing it about 12 miles from Indiana Line have made time westbound and gone. Eastbound was telling us there was nothing across the line and we were getting ready to open them up to 100 even. Sorting who was going to get front door once we hit the dollar at the line as my rig was not that great for that in those days she was loaded and not running too well for that.

Lawman pulled all of us over. And what do you know, i was wearing a laser storm T shirt (Laser gaming in those days) and there he is happy to show off the first laser unit that nailed all of us at. I think it was about a 68 in a 55. We were at 81 before the radio call from eastbound.

IT did not go well for the four of us. I got a ticket 70 dollars paid, one was warrant, another was some sort of fraud, arrested and number four tsk, he had issues. So Mr Lawman started writing. I told the other three Im sorry I screwed up at the front door. But we were told it did not matter what we did, he had us at 800 feet. Long before we had him in the weeds.

    From that site:

PrePass has partnered with NORPASS in a cooperative agreement between Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) Greenlight system, and HELP Inc., the provider of PrePass services, allowing the PrePass transponders to be used in the NORPASS system. This has added 44 locations to the PrePass system. There is no extra charge but a customer must submit a signed wavier of HELP’s data privacy policy upon registration.[1]

I’ve been meaning to ask the OP’s question because the scales I cross on a regular basis have been closed since the hoopla began.

I was under the impression they installed some voodoo device after 9/11 at some locations that can detect bombs, Mexicans and ripe vegetables. (Sort of sarcasm)

Is it possible that there's some way they can detect a driver's temperature with some kind of IR scan?

I read where the CVSA has postponed the 72 blitz that they had moved up to May for this year. Postponed to when, who knows.

You beat me to it. I have the waiver for OR and WA on Prepass. I have just the opposite problem and haven't been pulled into a scale on the west coast in almost 3 months. When I'm due for another level three, they'll pull me in again, they always do.
