What's with all the weigh stations?

Then the cattle join in, get moooov ing, get moooov ing.

 

Tuesday Illinois on 80 was packed up and gone.
280 and 80 in rock island county can usually counted on for 7am to 4 pm ..nobody even there .
Weds on 17 across New York dot was working in the usual spots .
Ohio on 30 was deserted .

 

You must drive really carefully to keep those cattle from falling off that lowboy.

 

I have PrePass, and Drivewyze through the QC unit.

I think I have been the only one to bypass many MN scales because Drivewyze says to do so.
Everyone else has gone in, even fellow Swift drivers.
I only started to bypass them when told by Drivewyze to do so, and so far have not been chased down.

Most of the weigh stations in my path for the past week or so have been closed.
Is that a virus thing?

 

Make sure your PrePass device is working. Check or replace the batteries. Also, has your truck recently changed plates? If so, contact your company, so they can make the necessary changes in their PrePass account.

 

I was getting a red light all the time in OR. So I called NorPass, and they told me they were missing the ID on my device. I haven’t been back to OR, so I can’t say if this has made any difference. I’m thinking it should, otherwise, why bother to have this service available.

 

Wear a gas mask or one of those n95 masks, next time you pull up in one and LOOK AT THE CAMERA!. That light will probably turn green faster than you can blink.

 

Or it might turn red just so they can verify your identity, or your intention.

 

Probably because every time I see a CHP in a coop, I tell them that Arizona drivers think CHP's are morons.

 

Was at the bug check in vidal junction one time. They were trying to get the copy machine working. So I asked what they did with the copies of BOLs. The woman said they send them to the state tax board. She said they use it for checking a companies tax filing.
Don’t know if it’s true, but sounds like a cali move.
