Ok so I frequent the Pilot on Briley Parkway about once a week right down from your guys terminal on Centennial. Each week I see this guy in a silver car come through the parking lot and goes up to every WE and SMX truck and say something to the driver and then the driver leaves. What's the deal? This past week when I was there I thought the one driver was going to hurt this guy, he flew off the handle yelling and screaming at him. I couldn't help but crack up laughing at the guy he looked like he was gonna have a heart attack he got so pissed. Do they not allow you guys to park there now or what and why?
Whats with your Nashville terminal?

I am a Western Express driver. We aren't allowed to park over there and sleep. It's so small over there at the that they want us to just come to the yard instead of taking up all of those spots
outerspacehillbilly Thanks this. -

yea and we need a gate pass and a log pass before we can leave the terminal so we dont like going into the terminal

You are not allowed to use the company truck for ANY personal use.
If you need to go shopping or want to do any other personal business, you are supposed to call a taxi or use some other form of transportation. -
Part of it is taking up parking spaces at the Pilot.
The truth is, if your parked at the pilot, they can't monitor your activities.
At the Western terminals, they actually have a person who goes out and checks to see what trucks are idling and reports them to the terminal manager.
This sounds like BS, but it's not trust me on this one. -
I delivered right beside there today at Robert Orr/ Sysco. Seems like a big terminal. Fancy building that comes out of drivers pockets.
I'm sitting at that Pilot now.
