Even trolls enjoy comments and popcorn.

To the OP...go with the OTR gig. Pepsi is great and all, but what happens if you end up somewhere with only Coke products for lunch? You'd have to hide it, or drink....*gasp* water! Go OTR. Drink what you want to drink. Be free!

    ;)

I understand about the height! I know several people that refuse to skateboard because of this. I don't fully agree with the 100-pound balancing act comment though. Very few people can walk that much weight up a ladder. I have carried 94-pound bags of Portland Cement up a ladder before and it is NOT AT ALL easy. I won't dispute your word on that, but I can't help but wonder if this is really a requirement or it is just something you do? The reason I say that is by now there would be some serious fallout from accidents because I am 100% sure there has been some.

It is for supply line and you are right on the pay. Pay does not increase until the next union contract if at all.

I am trying to think of a safety dept that wants truck drivers to climb a ladder with a 100 lb tarp. Like D.Tibbit said, let the forklift driver set it up there.

My vote is for the OTR. I had a local teamsters job for nearly a year. Never again, that's what I told them both times they called asking me to come back.

I only had a half hour commute when traffic cooperated and that sucked at times, can't imagine 2hrs commuting won't wear thin after a while.

Hard to beat 5 seconds from my bed to my "office" now.

    Rideandrepair and ADKHasty Thank this.
