What's Your 20 Maverick

Were you the one that was layed over the weekend empty recently that i told probably wouldnt get your weekend pay because they dispatched you for a monday load? My memory aint what it was lol.

 

Yeah. I was told yesterday I will get it next week. We will wait and see. I was also told that via the QC last week after I got hung out , so I was really counting on it. Without that, I didn't have enough to get the full per diem that I should have according to payroll so my check was no where near what I expected.

 

Yeah i hate when i expect to get paid and dont. Give 'em the week and see. For whatever reason these weekend extras always seem to be "forgotten" the first pay period they are suppose to be there but they have always made good the second go around for me.

 

I have no reason to believe they won't. I still think Maverick is a good company, I am just a little pissed over the whole deal do more to the timing than anything else. It will all be good I'm sure!

Didn't get home. Stuck at a glass plant in Detroit for the night. Going to leave early tomorrow morning. Still 400 miles from home. Should be home by some time tomorrow. Load delivers Monday at 10 am in Wausau WI. They wanted me to take it and screw up my home time because there's 0 OOR miles for me to take it home. I'll have about 40 hours at home before I leave Monday morning.

Not overly happy, but it is what it is. At least I'm going to be home long enough to buy some stuff and do my laundry.

 

40 hours is pretty average... Get home safe

 

For a normal flatbed who's home every weekend sure. I've been out 2 weeks. Was supposed to be home tonight and leave Monday morning.
