LOL, when Pilots suck, they take the prize for crappy. Been to some that are ridiculously small.

Tyson in Broken Bow, OK waiting for them to load me. 19 hours and counting. Load was due in Berryville, AR yesterday at 2000. They better hurry up, if they cost me this very special preplan, I'm going to be very upset.

We don't get 2100 mile runs in TCD very often, Tyson better not screw mine up.

So yesterday I pick up at Gerdau in Charlotte, NC. Instructions say bay #3 call safety for special instructions. I call and find out I'm picking up 5 bundles at 51' There is no blocking between the bundles so you need to wrap each bundle individually and make one complete wrap on each end, no tarp. Easy enough.

I was the only one at bay #3 and it still took over an hour for them to start loading me, but it gave me a chance to use the restroom, have lunch, check emails, day dream and knit a sweater.

Worst part of this load is the fact that it is going to the Gerdau plant in Paragould, AR and they don't start receiving until 18:00. So that gives me a day and a half to run 643 miles. 16.5 hours averaging 39 mph. Dang it boy think of the mileage! Well it still beats sitting.

That's the typical Paragould run. I did that one several times. I think they get 5 loads a day out there from Charlotte, and the last time I was there I'm pretty sure the guy unloading me said they start taking them at 1700. I usually loaded in bay 7 when I was in Charlotte. All I ever did with anything from there was strap over the top. I usually used a lot of straps but never chains or belly wraps do to their "not getting on the trailer policy". I've never seen anyone, Maverick or not, do anything different there and I've probably loaded there 10 times.

Well I'm here at Mr. T's T/S in Cardwell, Mo. I just dropped in Paragould, too bad I missed Seawheeler in Charlotte yesterday. They said at Gerdau the BBQ here is great.
