Lol keep in mind that I didn't actually run all those miles in one week, this load is worth 2160 and delivers Tuesday, so I'm almost starting the week with a full weeks worth of miles.

I'm just glad I had already crossed over the I-5 bridge when it collapsed. It happened about 7 hours after I crossed it... And I really don't think that the truck that hit it actually caused the failure, I think it just set it in motion, i.e. all it needed was a good vibration to go down.

I hope they do something about the state of bridges in our nation... Out of all of the things that can kill us out here, there is no reason anyone should EVER have to worry about an interstate bridge just randomly collapsing. Not ever.

Wow, glass hauling is really special! You get more per mile, more per tarp, you get to take our freight because there is not enough of your own to keep you busy, and now you get paid if your truck or trailer breaks down. Sounds like a great deal! Not taking shots, just making an observation...lol

That's why I switched from glass to flatbed, I was just making way too much in the glass division.

Well, as I've come to learn, there's also a lot of sitting in between loads. On average, I'm doing one load per week. Nothing particularly stellar.
