Sitting in Decatur, AL waiting on a load assignment. Question: When it's lunch time in Gary, does that mean you won't get a W/A until FM gets back? Happens a lot lately. And can anyone tell me if Tim Sales is new to being a FM or what?

Couldn't tell u if he's new, but I have him as a FM. Seems like a good guy, just wish I had more preplans and better hometime. Been hung out twice in 4 weeks... Will see how it goes. Why? What r ur experiences so far?

good miles but NY all the time, less hometime, no preplans, 1-7 hrs wait on W/A, lack of communication. We ask questions and never get a reply. Doesn't want phone calls. Some things just are to hard to talk about over qualcomm. This all might be normal but it wasn't the 1st 7 months. Now that I've wrote this it all seems kinda petty. It is trucking after all and the miles are good. But would like to be answered when questions are asked. Like when can he plans to route us by Gary so hubby can pick up TWIC card. It's been in since the 13th of this month. Even "I'm trying" would be nice. We don't bother him a lot so when there is a question it is usually important. Did manage to make it 5th on his board for OOR.

In his defense about the hometime, I've been talking to a lot of drivers who r being hung out across the fleet. Not sure what's going on, but u said it best... This is otr trucking!!

My guess is freight is still touch and go.....they can only get us home if there is freight to do it. I'm happy with the miles I been getting lately. Like Ridge Runner said 'make hay while the sun shines'. Who knows what the rest of the year will be like...elections, drought, hurricanes, slow economy.....
