I ditto what Captain has stated. I too look at the flatbed trucks going down the road and when I see a great tarp job I am glad to be working for the same company. I know how much hard work you guys put into those loads. I myself physically could never do flatbed which is why I chose TCD. I have asthma and depending on the humidity in the air and whatever day I can't predict how I react. One day I will be ok and the next I am not. I just went to two shippers in a row that I had to drop the trailer I had. Both times I had to raise the preloaded trailer and it is hard to do with a lot of weight. The first trailer I did fine the next trailer I was struggling for air and I left my emergency inhaler in the truck. The weather extremes you guys deal with wouldn't bother me, I worked in the postal service as a letter carrier for 10 years and know what that is like. I do know that even though being a letter carrier is hard work what you flatbed guys do is much harder than what any letter carrier does. Overall though no matter what division you are working in with Maverick it is a great company to work for and we should all be proud to be apart of the Maverick family.
