Yep pu fixed trailer, go to olney, tx tower extrusions, unload that trailer, then load broken trailer and return to shipper in Dallas which is now consignee in Dallas. W/a said multistop load. So here's my opinion on this scenario. Total paid miles mt and loaded was 290 so 350 short haul pay for it. I load one trailer, deliver that trailer, my trailer is empty. That'd be load one. Then they load another trailer on me and I take it back to where I started this am and unload it. That'd be load two. Not a multistop load. Of course the shipper this am took 2 hours to load the fixed trailer. It took almost 3 hours to unload it and reload the broken trailer. And of course Wabash in Dallas closes at 1700. Lol. Managed to get maverick to agree on 2 x $30 for "multistop", but they wouldn't budge on 2 x 350 for short haul pay. Lol. Took one for the team today y'all and made some @#$% good lemonade outta the lemons today.

Sitting in Lansing Mi. Waiting to deliver in the morning. It was a good run from the Fort.

Hanging out until appointment time. Apparently, there's a log jam down at the yard.

I probably won't, but it crossed my mind to wait until the tail-end of my appointment window in case it might be a tad cooler by then.
Not complaining about the load to Michigan.

 

4 hours to load 3 coils in 3 bays of c34 at NAS Ghent, ky. And after 1pm del appointment at international crankshaft and a weekend at the house with no ac, heat pump died, I'm not running night shift. Flying j in Walton, ky. Headed for Greenville, sc for 1530 del appt tomorrow.
