Been in Georgetown, KY for 4 1/2 hours now... Pulled in the bay to get unloaded, and the crane stopped working! Then about an hour ago, I get a message on the qualcomm saying there are no loads, We'll try first thing in the morning. Guess after that message, I'm somewhat fortunate the crane is broke.... making a little detention pay at least.

Is it possible to extend your drive time because of a break down? Talking with my dad who drove for ups, he was able to extend his drive time by 2 hours because of snow one time.

The rule about that is very particular. Basically if you run into something that prevented you from safely reaching a safe haven before the end of your hours AND had you not encountered this situation you would have been able to safely get to a safe haven then and only then you may drive past your driving time to the nearest safe haven not to exceed two hours.
