Ha ha that's rich. I broke one of my self imposed rules ( do not post before coffee). How about theoretical. All in good fun of course And on a Sunday so may have been inserted by the good lord himself?

 

I figured that is what you meant...but thought I would just sit back and watch....lol

 

60 hours and counting here in Carleton, MI. Got unloaded this morning at 04:00 then back to the drop yard. They wanted me to load a trailer that has a sign on the front of it "Bad Tires" they asked me "do you think you can make it to Gary with it. I answered " legally, NO" oh ok sit tight the. We'll figure something out and get back to you.

 

You did the right thing by not taking the trailer...or you could have loaded it, gone down the road and put in a breakdown call for two tires....or made the call right there and had them come out and replace them both.

 

That's what I did had them come out and fix it. Not worth the chance of blowing a tire or getting nabbed by the DOT.

 

Man, what a bad break that those tires went bad just as the last guy delivered the trailer.

 

Finally got loaded and back on the road. At a pilot somewhere along 94 in MI. 6 hours to go tomorrow on my way to Dewitt IA think I'll take it easy as I have all day to get there and they are closed tomorrow. Start of at Denny's maybe a Wally World run, who knows.
