What's Your 20 Maverick

Home, and till Thursday afternoon! After my blowout Friday with less than two hours to the house, I didn't get my reset. (live and learn... I should have either stayed out for the weekend, or called to see if I could deliver after 10am on Monday) Anyways, decided to get to my Monday delivery in Lowell, AR Sunday night for my delivery Monday. After I got unloaded Monday morning, I had a whopping 2 hours and 7 minutes on my clock. I sent in my empty call very curious as to what was going to happen. Well, I wound up receiving a preplan to pick up in Little Rock and heading to Birmingham, NY! Almost 1400 miles paid! Needles to say I didn't even have enough time to get to Little Rock to pick it up. (bummer, cause you don't get runs like that to often) So I wound up driving to Ft. Smith and hanging out for 22 hours to gain hours. Wound up picking up in Russelville, AR for delivery in Indiana Friday morning. I keep my personal vehicle at the Madison yard, so I loaded and ran to Madison and I'm laying in my comfy bed on a Tuesday night.
Gonna be a terrible paycheck, but its nice to be able to spend the holiday with the wife and kids.

Small roadside gas station after making my thursday morning delivery on wednesday evening when consignee was supposedly closed. I had planned to take my break there but no dice since they were open (a coal mine btw). So hopefully the local pd dont hassle me here. Im off the highway and not blocking anything I think. Another fine csr goof! If I had known customer was open all day I would have been here a lot sooner and probably been able to drop my final thursday rather than friday,grrrr! Csr actually said they checked and this customer was closed for the 4th.

Mississippi river, looking at the chain of rocks bridge north of St Louis... Catfishing on my boat with the wife, good friend and his wife... Windy as hell, lightning everywhere... beached it on an island riding the storm out lol.... Storms were not in the forecast.
