    I used to like Subway.......
Got the squirts the last 2 times I went there, so they kinda on my "Do not haul" list.
But, I wouldn't mind going back to one that wasn't in a truckstop.

Italian BMT lettuce tomato onion oil & vinegar.
Steak and cheese, onions peppers and southwest sauce.
The rotisserie chicken is pretty good too.

But for fast food sub shops it's hard to beat jersey mikes. A large is 2 meals. I do the original Italian that has 5 different meats. I love a good Italian sub.

    Subway if no other options

How do we know subway knew about that ####. You would think the government would have pinched a while back had they know.

    One of my favorites:

This sandwich idea came from a deli at a Vermont truckstop that had all these weird sandwiches, none of which looked really appealing, but I was kinda stuck there it and it was one of these sandwiches or nothing.

It turned out to be delicious, and I have been getting subway to make a passable equivalent.

Turkey with Onion, Cucumbers, and Pepperjack Cheese. Topped with Oil, Vinegar, and a large amount of Honey Mustard sauce.

Most of their "meat" is turkey based used to say that on the sign. Other "additives" well if you don't want to know don't ask. Can't remember the last time I was in Subway.

Foot long Tuna on Italian herb and cheese with spinach, tomatoes, onions, banana peppers and jalapeños cut into 3 sections…Eat two for dinner and one at lunch next day….

But that is considered a ‘last resort’
And before I lost 70 lbs and counting…..

I am a Spicy Italian guy, with double meat, double cheese half American half pepper jack, all the veggies except cucumber and spinach, both are good vegetables, but neither belong on a sub. Add parmesan, caeasr sauce and ranch sauce.....it ain't complete with out 3 cookies for dessert...#FatTruckers

I don't know man......Jersey Mike's ain't bad but Firehouse and Penn Station can rival them I think. There's a Penn Station behind the Walmart in Paducah, KY. I think it's exit 4 off 24. Penn Station is slept on in my mind. I'd even throw Lenny's or American Deli on that list too. Lenny's ain't always truck accessible. I think a location is in walking distant from the Pilot in Knoxville, the one at the 374. If ya don't put that hot pepper relish on their subs, you've cheated yourself out of the Lenny's experience.
