What's your favorite thing from subway?

Not a big fan of Subway. There are far better options, however since Subway is one of the 5 or so approved restaurants at the big truck stops, I eat there from time to time.

Therefore, it’s worth noting that the best Subway location in the USA is consistently….. at the TA in Boise. Always fresh and well made by decent folks when I go there. Your mileage may vary.

 

Not a fan of subway, for the price, you can get better at Walmart, tho no longer patronize them, for various reasons.

 

May be mistaken, but heard it was either Firehouse, or 5Guys that sold a portion of the company to an investment company.

I like firehouse. Never heard of Lenny's or Penn.

 

Seafood and crab but since I can't find it anymore it's usually steak and cheese

 

I could go for a hot pastrami from Katz deli in NYC. Made a special stop a few times doing food service........well worth it

 

There is a firehouse in the same strip mall as a five guys on Jefferson in Newport News Virginia. I have been in that one several times. This "was" my favorite place to sit and eat a sandwich. I honestly don't know if this place survived the Covid lockdowns. Fantastic food and really reasonably priced!

 

I like their white bread with provolone cheese, pepper jack cheese, bell pepper, black olives, and spinach toasted. Safer than eating their meat products.

If I want meat, I go buy cold cuts from the adjoining truckstop store.

 

My favorite thing is when they go out of business!! Literally a Subway in every truck stop!
