Surprised nobody mentions this one. Twisted trucker pretending to be a Good Samaritan pulls a kidnapping for money. A very solid film.

To me, Blackdog was a bit too cartoonish, in the realm of smokey and the bandit.
They stretched my "suspension of reality" beyond any known breaking point.

HOW does a trailer continue to roll without BOTH airlines?
My answer: no brakes since they were backed off completely or simply eliminated.

How does a Tractor go through a Mobile Home and yet suffer NO damage??
On what supposed NC Highway was that mobile humility filmed?

Seems ALL Class 6, 7, 8 trucks I've driven, I cranked the engine then waited a bit before releasing brakes (cause some trucks had slow air leaks but not enough to get it sidelined), not crank engine then release brakes.

I've seen some "things" when overly tired at night but also during days, but never saw a dog or any type animal, of that I recall.

Maximum Overdrive was fun and like Hellraiser, made IN North Carolina.

Gary Sinise played a burned out Trucker in Reindeer Games who decides to pull a casino robbery in an attempt to get out of a dissatisfying career.

Remember that scene when he’s throwing darts at Ben Affleck telling him how he’s driven millions of miles and everywhere he goes he sees families in cars looking at him like they just hate him so much and want him to get his big truck off their happy highway.

He pretty well described trucking in a nutshell.

I had never seen Breakdown. I just searched it on Xfinity and it was ok, but was a bit far fetched in some of the movie. It was a decent show. I enjoyed it & glad I watched it but, a little too "made up" or "movieish" in some places.

Glad you posted that @Graham Cracker

I get my share of those looks, mostly from out of state cars.

My response to them is “#### you, I live here”.

Well it was a 90s movie so watching it today with todays technology I can see how it doesn’t really play well in todays times. It was really good in the 90s when I saw it in the theater and I’m a fairly new CDL holder at that time as well.

But you’re right, breakdown is a solid film but reindeer games was better.
