I was talking about me knowing what i wanted to do after high school, not my life overall. What are you talking about "is that all you have learned to this point in your life"

Listen, i was only trying to make conversation. If i'm annoying you, i could go.

Do you have much free time? Like after delivering a load, do you have time to relax and maybe watch tv a bit or do you usually only have time to eat and sleep? How frequent do you have "resets" or off days. I read somewhere on a post, where someone said they had plenty of free time. After delivering a load, or on their off days, they usually took their bike out into town and went to go see a movie or to a restaurant. Is it possible to leave your truck at a truck stop while you take a bike/motorcycle and go drive out on your free time?

    Don't go, I'm having fun.

You are looking for a direction for your life.
You are only trying to make conversation.

Well, I am just trying to help in that.

Thank you :) do you have any regrets about truck driving? I don't understand why the people who say they love their job, tell me to go for something else. Like it just confuses me.

I have no regrets, but my circumstances are very different from yours.

I was 55 years old when I started this, and I would never have done it at your age.
I did it because I love the open road and I had no other wants or needs or obligations to stand in the way.

You do, even f you don't realize those things right now.

What if i decided to stay in the air force and make it a career? I planned on doing it before but the only thing holding me back was not being able to see my family much. My mom just had a baby, and by the time i'm 18 and leave to go to the air force, she will be two years old. I want to be apart of her life. The airforce gives you free housing, free food, free medical, and tons of other benefits.

You won't be seeing your family much being OTR either. You might get 3 days per month.
There are trade offs any way you go.

Military or trucking will reduce the time you have with your family to a great degree.

Those are not your only options.
Heck, get in with IKEA, if there is one near by. They pay well and you have room for advancement.
Many other companies as well, that would keep you close to home and home every day.
