I was talking about me knowing what i wanted to do after high school, not my life overall. What are you talking about "is that all you have learned to this point in your life"
Listen, i was only trying to make conversation. If i'm annoying you, i could go.
What's your life like as an OTR trucker?

You are looking for a direction for your life.
You are only trying to make conversation.
Well, I am just trying to help in that.Lucidd Thanks this. -
do you have any regrets about truck driving? I don't understand why the people who say they love their job, tell me to go for something else. Like it just confuses me.
-
I have no regrets, but my circumstances are very different from yours.
I was 55 years old when I started this, and I would never have done it at your age.
I did it because I love the open road and I had no other wants or needs or obligations to stand in the way.
You do, even f you don't realize those things right now.Lucidd Thanks this. -

You won't be seeing your family much being OTR either. You might get 3 days per month.
There are trade offs any way you go.
Military or trucking will reduce the time you have with your family to a great degree.
Those are not your only options.
Heck, get in with IKEA, if there is one near by. They pay well and you have room for advancement.
Many other companies as well, that would keep you close to home and home every day.Lucidd Thanks this.
