Would it be a good idea to just go to college while working at UPS? I'll start off working at UPS part time. So while I'm doing that, I may go to college to maybe become a cop or something? I'm not sure. And once college is over, and I feel that it didn't work out, I'll have UPS to fall back on. Maybe I should go to college full time but try and balance a part time job at McDonalds lol. What I want to go to college for, i have no idea.

    Not really.
They will run you hard, and by the time you are home you will be too tired to do anything.
And then you will have to be back at work in a few hours anyway. Just enough time to grab a bite to eat and sleep, then back to work.

Yeah I'm thinking about just going to a university. I just don't know what I'll want to do. The only jobs that I can think about going to college for is medical. And I don't feel like being a doctor or a nurse anymore. I here welders make good money, but even still. Also instead of college. I could atleast go to trade school

If I was 18 again I would join the Air Force, find a job in there that had the most routine schedule like administration and go to school for free the entire time. Get out and start my career.

One piece of advice, if you do go military do NOT get married. If you screwed that up then DO NOT have a kid.

Your right. I was thinking i'd be able to just come home from a hard days work, relax, watch netlfix, maybe play a game. I doubt I'd even feel like doing that. Working at UPS seems like hell so college is my only option.

First you are 16 so don't be too hard on yourself, lol. Take some AP courses in high school. General education courses are for every degree.

I took this from an article

"Welding does not require a college degree and is one of the few jobs where you can earn a six-figure salary with as little as nine months of training! Underwater welders often charge over $1,000 a day for their services. Traveling industrial pipe welders earn anywhere between $50,000.00 and $185,000.00 a year."

So I could basically go to trade school which is cheaper and shorter than college, usually 6 months to a year or two, end up with a degree and still make really good money.

Lucidd, isn't there ANYTHING that you are actually interested in?
It seems that all you are really interested in is making money, in some way.

Don't you have an interest in anything?
    Something?

    Longarm Thanks this.
