When you're 18 leave home. Join the French Foreign Legion. Become a Merchant Seaman. Join Sealiftcommand.com

Lots of options. Once you're 18 your parents can't control you any longer. Check with household moving companies and maybe become a drivers helper.

    Longarm and Lucidd Thank this.

You quoted me and then failed to respond to what I said.

Yes, this place might not be the largest - but it is the best. We try to help, when we are not judging and condemning.

    That is really funny.

I have done that, years ago.
It is a lot of labor with very small pay.
Normally under the table, so it doesn't count as a real job.

It does help to get the next meal on the table though.

    Chinatown Thanks this.

    Wow!
You are SO up in the air.

What do I think about being a lawyer?
    I could not do it.
I would be too concerned about the Truth, than being concerned about all the loopholes and fast talking to get a guilty person out.

Or about the same to get an innocent person sent in.

I refuse to be on a jury for the same reasons.
I will not be put in the position to judge another persons innocence or guilt based on how certain evidence is presented or withheld or stricken.

If I do not witness the event, I am not a part of it in any way.

Do you like to argue? Do you have honor role type grades? Lots if different types of lawyers, but you need to make grades to get accepted to law school after you have a 4 year degree. Not easy...but if it's interesting to you, do some research...ie what are the requirements to become an attorney?

Perhaps i should just join the air force when i turn 18 so i can have a place to live and a steady pay check. While in there, i'll probably get an engineering job or something. Then when i get out of the air force later, i'll go to trade school or college to become an engineer then, with paid for schooling.

I was just looking for opinions on being a lawyer, not actually considering it lol
