Starting pay is anywhere from 24 to 29 cpm.Werner is one of the lowest paying companies there is.Trucking is all about change.Everytime you turn around something is always changing and have to get use to it except one thing, the pay.Don't think Werner will ever change that unless it be a pay cut.

But not as much as inflation it seems.
(most money I've made yet was at 18, driving a delivery truck for cash, no taxes. Probably works out to $26/hr in today's dollars) -
Only did the CPM thing once for 2 months. I think that was in 90. Dumb mistake. I believe it was $.28 CPM. Even though I was paid hourly for all other time, CPM doesn't make it in Los Angeles traffic. Started out in 85 at $9.72 per hour. Went to $11.72 in 88. Now at $26.89 with OT after 8 hours.

Thanks. I'm just glad to get a start. I could have started at .34 with Prime, but they don't reimburse student training like Werner does. Once you put that in as a factor, they're about the same payrate starting. I'm glad to see hard work pays off in this career driver. Thanks for giving me more motivation.
