A recruiter said if I lease purchase I can eliminate the need for a bank completely!!

He said the truck lease is $1000 a week for the next 8 years. I never knew these trucks cost $416,000. I guess mine would be used with 499,000 miles on it so it’s still under warranty!!

When your back is so bad, you can’t carry (sit on) a wallet. When You figure out that You’re no different than all those ( other) Dumb know it all Drivers. When the left side of Your face looks 10 yrs older than the right side. When You’re willing to trade all the knowledge you have to be young and Dumb again.

As long as you enjoy the job, you're a new driver. They day you want to quit and retire from the profession, you are a seasoned driver.

I've had my cdl for 10 years, 'got it when I was 20' and I still feel like a newbie. Part of the reason for that is I'm always doing different stuff so I constantly have to ask questions on different things. Last year I pulled reefer for a few months during slow season. 'Hated it'. Drove a log truck for the first time last winter. 'Loved it' . Now I have my own truck and feel like a complete newbie all over again!
