10 years with PRK. Started out 20/400. 6 weeks after surgery, 20/10. Now left eye is 20/15, right is 20/35. I get the 20/20 line with both eyes open. I'd do it over again. I plan on getting the right eye touched up next year. YMMV.

Keep in mind that if you do have the corrective lenses restriction on your CDL that you need to have a spare pair of glasses/contacts with you while operating a CMV. That being said, in all my years of having the restriction on my CDL, I've NEVER been asked about my spare pair of glasses.

For years I took the vision test without wearing my glasses and pass, but as age caught up with me it got harder to do so I just gave up, took the test with them on and let DMV put the restriction on my CDL:biggrin_25519:

In PA, if its on your medical card when you self certify it goes on your license. I can still squint to 20/25ish so i dont wear my glasses.
