One nice thing about reefer was being able to open that little door and check on the load when I had reason to believe it might have shifted

Almost happened to me a week and a half ago up in La Crosse. Was live unloading and opened the passenger side door first to see two pallets that were ready to topple. The driver side door was still closed and locked and holding the pallets up in place to keep them from toppling. The two pallets had to be broken down first, keeping the driver side door closed before we could open up the driver side door to unload the rest of the product!

We had a full load of steel 15”and 16” utility/ travel trailer wheels come in about 15 years ago. All stacked in individual boxes. And had to be hand stacked on pallets to unload. Driver opened door and one slid down and busted his noggin wide open and knocked him out cold. We thought he was dead. He spent a couple days in the hospital.
