When suing for unpaid wages what are the recommended steps?

    Do I need to hire a lawyer from the companies state or mine?
    The Dept of Labor only gets you minimum wage of hours worked, That don't seem legal...I need some advice on this issue

    Find a attorney probably where they are located since they cut checks from the HQ

    It would have been nice to get a check with a paystub, but these guys paid "CASH ONLY"...There is no record of anything other than my application and the loads I delivered on my camscanner with my logs

    Nobody really gets physical stubs anymore just an expression. Still go with the companies home address.

    I was not under any training....They just flat out didn't pay me for 2831 miles...I quit 3 days later for non payment

    And what ethnicity was your employer?
    I know mega companies are always getting bashed, but I would never trust a "small" company

    I had no idea that a company could pay you CASH ONLY and not abide by any tax laws...No record of miles paid (Just my logs)...I was suppose to be a 1099 but never even signed a 1099 form...They were too stupid to figure out how direct deposit works.
