well regarding CSA points, i do not see any in regards to over weight vehicles. i have supplied a link here with the CSA point system, and towards the very end where cargo is mentioned, i absolutely do not see any fines/points for being over weight.

this is NOT to say that in the near future it will NOT be added, as we all know the fine folks at the DOT are well known for making changes mid-stream...

but for the time being, it's been covered from the very first response to the o/p who has not shown up since then.....i think another "drive by posting"....

Ok by who? [IMG] DOT, show me the reg that says so. Ok by your company? Well of course it is, they wanted it scaled, but I'm sure that in this case they would have paid any fines.
No one as in,DOT. Or no one as in your company?[IMG]

Your probably right, but OP still brought up some valid questions I think.:biggrin_2558: [IMG]

If the load is "heavy-haul" permitted, then it can't be a reducible load. The regs state that if a heavy load CAN be reduced, then it must be. They WILL permit if it can't be broken down, ie: one HEAVY piece of machinery or some such...but NOT if it can be reduced by taking only ONE of the TWO or more.
