Take it off. Got my first ticket pulling my first oversized because I crossed a scale empty with signs still on.

Depends on the state....... I almost always leave mine on. If im going from one OD load to the next, I leave them on. Some states permits tell you that the signs must be taken off when not in use.

But, thats only the southern states minus Georgia.

Take it off. It' kind of like the flashing amber lights that some companies run all the time now - nobody will pay attention to it if half the time someone has an OS sign on that isn't oversize.

Why call attention to yourself? Take the signs and flags and flashing lights off.

    Oxbow and Rugerfan Thank this.
