I only dump suspenion when unhooking a loaded trailer after you put the landing gear down
chopper103in Thanks this. -
I rarely dump the suspension on my truck. About the only time I do drop it is when I drop a trailer. When you dump the valve before backing under the trailer and then inflate the suspension, it can take some stress off the landing gear which can make it easier to crank up.

Sometimes I have to drop my loaded trailer on a scale. I lower the legs til they just touch the deck. Then I dump my bags and pull out. Also when I'm making a delivery on a logging road with steep inclines I'll dump my bags when I'm empty to gain more traction.

Dumping the suspension will give you a little more traction in the white stuff.
