I don't mean to Criticize your work but I only grease the back half of the plate cause when I slide under my trailer the trailer will push the grease to the front 1/2 and its not as bad of mess .. that just me

I lower my bags and back most of the way under with no contact. Then raise up and hook it. Works most of the time.

We usually get a small bucket and use a paint stick to apply a thin coat, leave the air down until it’s like 2” off the king pin then inflated and hit the pin

At Ozark’s main terminal they had a grease drum at the fuel island with a long handle scrub brush that had lived past its useful life. Acted as a grease spatula.

A few weeks ago I loaded a new tube in my battery gun and forgot to pull the metal lid off. That sure made a mess.
