I agree 100%. All the people I know that are cheating are women who cheat at their gym. Straight up husband working, being better than half way decent and their woman just wants that rush. Every cheating story I’ve heard of was a 9 to 5 situation

Lived in and been to almost all the US major cities, never ever would I want to be near them in a big truck. Best place to be in a truck is on that long lonesome where all you can hear is a jake purring 3 miles awayStill undecided, Another Canadian driver and Rideandrepair Thank this. -

Back on topic:
The advice to move to a no-income-tax state is spot on. TN and SD have no income tax and plenty of big-money driving positions from which to choose.
Depending upon your experience and background, you could look into hauling DoD Clearance loads. Hazmat tanker jobs are always available (Kwik Trip/Kwik Star is advertising an average pay for their fuel drivers in Clear Lake, IA of $109,000, but then you'd have to live in Iowa). Reefer if you prefer the mileage and don't mind a lot more night driving. California Overland out of Wabasha, MN would send you pulling a reefer to CA and back every week if you wish. If you don't mind monotony, there are hundreds of FedEx Ground contractors running linehaul routes for good money. I once passed up an opportunity to run a wide-open glider pulling intermodal tanks of Hydrogen Peroxide from Phoenix to Austin 2.5 times per week (I lived in El Paso at the time) for $1500/load on 1099 back in 2016 (I went back to college at the time so this wouldn't have worked with my schedule)... that would have been up to $195k in a perfect world, but the federal taxes would have eaten a huge chunk out of it.
Many opportunities exist to stack cash, you just have to think outside the box.mustang190, Another Canadian driver and Rideandrepair Thank this. -

Hah I'd like to see them try. As you say if JB won't pay good, they won't get drivers in the first place. It's hard enough to find drivers even at what I'm being paid, which looks like will be more this season since the rates are rumored to go up this year to cover increased fuel cost and I'm paid a percentage. As of now I'm the only driver my boss has that will be starting next week. He has 2 more maybe starting later in the month but 1 worked last year for only 2 months n quit so not very reliable. The other will only come to work the summer, if he comes at all.

Well the most money might be in 2023 now lol. Boss switched my truck to a different contractor that pays a higher rate and yesterday I grossed $1260 for the day, n will be the same run everyday for a while.
