Where are your favorite places to eat on the road?

There was one tiny converted gas station from the 50's turned into a 2 table mexican 24/7 diner with grill cook and feces filled bathroom west of San Antone.

GOD the FOOOD> OMG the FOOOOOOD. a plate of that for breakfast is worth a thousand miles. I would have carted out 5 plates if he had go boxes.

Just mind the flies and bring your shop towels.

Some times the worst unappetizing places have the best food.
