You might look into Lone Mountain Truck Leasing/Sales.
freightliner438 Thanks this. -
If you are not State side here in the 48, you need to look at your local dealers there in Hawaii,

Two websites to start with are www.truckpaper.com and www.racingjunk.com. You would be surprised at the quality and price of some of the trucks on these two websites. Good luck, Bugjuice.

I'll sell you mine. A 2006 International 9400i, Cummins ISX 435 ST with 13 speed. 3.42 rears. 7 mpg average. 873,000 on the engine. just ran an oil sample with 20,000 miles on the oil (typical oil changes at 20,000 with chassis greasing every 5000 miles). The results were iron 4, lead 9, copper 3, tin <2, oil viscosity 14.6, no water, no glycol, no fuel in oil. All respectable numbers for even an engine with 200,000 miles on it. And this is using Mystik JT-8 15w40 I get from my farm and home supply currently for $58 for a 5 gallon bucket, and Donaldson filters. Synthetic lubes in the trans and diffs. Centramatics all the way around. Silicon (dirt) was a little higher on the oil sample than normal, but the air filter does need changed.
It did get a new turbo last February. I am only asking for what the dealer will give for it in trade for my new truck I am picking up next week. And this one I am getting rid of includes a heavy duty deer guard, an Espar bunk heater, and a built in Xantrex inverter / charger. Tires are at around 70% life left. New brakes, drums, cans all the way around last fall. Has 150 gallon set back fuel tanks, sliding 5th wheel.
$21,000 for the truck (what the dealer will give me) and the title is clear and ready to move. I can send pics.
As a side note: it is an EGR engine, but the EGR valve has been inoperable since about 400,000 miles. It died in the closed position and I put a steel plate block between the EGR tube and the intake manifold anyway. 1 fault code for the EGR. Not using it, oil stays cleaner, mpg is better, so I figured why spend $1400 to change something I wasn't using and didn't need anyway. Took a picture of the ECM readout for mpg for all of last week, shows roughly 8 mpg for the week. Now we know all ECM mpg figures are off a little, and mine is as well. When it shows a 8 mpg average, I am really getting about 7.5 mpg. And that is what the pump to pump calculations showed last week.Last edited: Jul 25, 2012

You might look at leasing companies like Salem National, they have some good trucks for decent prices. But like any truck, look it over good first.
