I have a friend of mine with a 1992 Western Star with a full mechanical motor. He runs to Los Angeles then back to Florida on a weekly basis.....
Old trucks are allowed to run Cali. They just can't go into the sea ports!! Mercer also has a solution to the old truck/sea port issue!
Where can I go with an older truck?

Have you found a place to go YET?
-
No I actually haven't bought a truck yet. So as soon as I get one I'll decide. But 2 guys I contacted both blew me off. -
We have a lot of good guys over here. We have frequent BBQ's, gatherings, & good times. If your down & out, a Mercer Brother or Sister will try to help.
We are now leasing on Flats, Steps, & VANS!
I'd make an awesome recruiter! That is if I could only resist the urge of slapping the crap out of people!! -
I got on the website sounds good. I'm glad they do van. I've done flatbed and you can keep those f'in tarps lol. I drag van and reefer for the company I'm with now. I'm trying to get to go look at a Freightshaker Classic today and another tomorrow. Hopefully one will pan out. If not I'll keep searching.
Oh the other reason I like van, no headache rack, rusty chains, ratty straps.
But you never know I'm back to seeing the ex-wife so I am a glutton for punishment, LMAO.(reminds me of her)
