Good luck with that. I don't know of a single carrier that will take a 31 year old truck.
I suggest small local carriers in your area. Just go knock on some doors. A five minute face to face conversation can go a very long way. Make that first impression count.SVERG Thanks this. -
some companies don't have an age limit but I think 31 years old will be pushing it check companies that run paperlogs or intermodal companies since they don't care as long as it passes the dot inspection.

Any bull hauling outfit will. We don't run the new unreliable emissions equipment. Our cargo is too important. Landstar and mercer will iirc. Most small mom and pop places will especially if you have her cleaned up nice. As a rule of thumb if a company has a age requirement on trucks stay far away from them because odds are you won't make #### and they know it. Since they know you won't have money to maintain your truck they prefer you to have a new one. Also if you have a big truck payment they know you will be desperate to run just to make payments.
Cetane+, Samuel Coyne, Bean Jr. and 3 others Thank this. -

First what kind of trailer do you want to pull? Landstar has an age requirement of 97 or newer IIRC.

I suppose location might help. Most small outfits should accept you. What are you looking for?
